With over 30 years of cross-industry experience, including a two-decade tenure at VFS Global, Vishal brings deep strategic and operational expertise to Skylane’s mission to revolutionize how governments manage global mobility through AI, automation, and secure digital solutions.
Vishal’s extensive career spans hospitality, infrastructure, retail, and visa services. At VFS, he played a foundational role in the company’s early growth, leading strategic operations across Africa, APAC, the Middle East, and South Asia. As Business Head for key markets such as South Asia and China, Vishal built and scaled large, compliant visa ecosystems, earning recognition as a pioneer in government outsourcing. His deep strategic insight and operational expertise make him uniquely qualified to lead Skylane.
Founded by tech entrepreneur Mohak Nahta, Skylane is built to digitize workflows and aid in accelerated visa approvals. The platform replaces traditional manual workflows with AI-driven decision engines. Each visa application is transformed into a structured risk profile, a real-time, data-rich assessment that consolidates verified identities, authenticated documents, and potential risk flags, much like a credit score in banking. This enables faster, more secure, and more objective decision-making for governments. Skylane’s innovations include an intelligent digital process, document pre-check, face match appointments and Smart Gates to access SkyPods(secure 24/7 biometric enrollment centers). These innovations streamline visa application submissions, backend operations, cut costs, and enhance decision quality at scale.
