To promote Thailand as a perfect holiday destination for Indians, Tourism Authority of Thailand organizes the Amazing Thailand Roadshow to India in the City of Joy – Kolkata on 4th August 2025.
The networking event started with a B-B session where Indian travel agents, event organisers and travel media got an opportunity to meet and network with 30 sellers from Thailand including representatives of hotels, attractions, airlines and DMC’S.
The evening commenced with an opening remark by Ms Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul General of Thailand to Kolkata, who welcomed the travel trade from Kolkata and West Bengal.
This was followed by the Amazing Thailand Product presentation focusing on new destinations, products and experiences in Thailand. The presentation also highlighted new tourism segments like Adventure, Wellness, Gastronomy tourism that are fast growing in Thailand.
At the roadshow, Mrs Siriges-a-nong Trirattanasongpol, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand New Delhi Office, highlighted the importance of Indian visitors to Thailand and appreciated the continuous support of the Indian travel trade in making Thailand the preferred travel destination for Indians. Currently India is ranked at no 3 spot for inbound tourists to Thailand.
The Director also expressed her gratitude in visiting the beautiful city of Kolkata and meeting with the travel agents, wedding planners and media. She stated that TAT has done several events and networking sessions in Kolkata and has always experienced a wonderful response from the people here. “We Look forward to welcoming many more travellers from Kolkata and West Bengal to Amazing Thailand” she said.
