Since joining Centara in June 2021, he has been instrumental in enhancing the brand’s footprint across India. Backed by over ten years of experience in the travel and hospitality sector, he is known for his ability to accelerate business development, cultivate key partnerships, and implement forward-thinking strategies in the B2B and MICE segments.
Before joining Centara, Jagtap held leadership roles at Cox & Kings and Iris Reps, where he spearheaded major projects and played a key role in expanding market reach across India, North America, the GCC, and the Far East. His core strengths lie in B2B sales, MICE, leisure travel, and driving international market growth.
In his elevated role, Hemant Jagtap will steer Centara’s strategic sales initiatives across the Indian market. His priorities will include deepening ties with key travel partners, expanding the brand’s reach across segments such as FITs, GITs, weddings, and MICE, and supporting Centara’s long-term goal of ranking among the world’s top 100 hotel groups.
