SUJÁN marks a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of pioneering excellence, innovation, and purpose-driven luxury tourism in India. Founded in October 2000 with the launch of SUJÁN Sher Bagh, the country’s first luxury tented camp in Ranthambhore, SUJÁN has grown into a globally recognised symbol of responsible luxury, conservation, and cultural storytelling.
Founded by Jaisal Singh at the age of 20, SUJÁN began as a deeply personal mission to redefine how travellers connect with India’s wild spaces, heritage, and local communities. Inspired by his family’s generational commitment to Ranthambhore, Sher Bagh was designed to offer immersive wildlife experiences in one of India’s most celebrated tiger reserves, setting the tone for the SUJÁN philosophy.
“SUJÁN was born out of our love for Ranthambhore and our belief that true luxury lies in authenticity, making a difference, and storytelling,” said Jaisal Singh, Founder & CEO, SUJÁN. “Twenty-five years on, we remain committed to creating meaningful journeys that conserve our wildlife, support local communities, and protect India’s rich heritage.”
Over the last 25 years, SUJÁN has expanded its presence in Rajasthan with award-winning destinations such as SUJÁN The Serai, Jaisalmer and SUJÁN JAWAI, Jawai Bandh, each offering distinct experiences grounded in conservation and cultural immersion.
