LUX* South Ari Atoll, Maldives presents the return of celebrated Indian Chef Avinash Martins. This marks the second edition of the exclusive culinary collaboration. This year’s event will take place from 23 to 28 October 2025, featuring a cocktail evening and three signature dinners designed to bring together the finest flavours of India and the Maldives.
Chef Avinash Martins, recognised among India’s Top Chefs 2025 by Culinary Culture, helms the celebrated restaurant Cavatina by Avinash Martins, ranked #22 on Condé Nast Traveller India’s Top Restaurant Awards 2025. He has been honoured with the Sustainable Chef of the Year title at the Travel + Leisure India Delicious Dining Awards for his inventive cuisine rooted in sustainability and local produce. Cavatina has also won the Best Coastal Restaurant at the same awards, while C’est L’avi – Table in the Hills was recognised as the Best Emerging Restaurant. His newest venture, Janot, has been featured among the hottest and most exciting new openings of 2025 by Condé Nast Traveller India, Elle Gourmet, Travel + Leisure India, Culinary Culture, and more — each restaurant reflecting his enduring passion for storytelling through food.
The programme begins on 23 October with an elegant cocktail party, where guests will meet the chef and enjoy a preview of the culinary journey ahead. On 24, 26 and 28 October, Chef Avinash will host three exclusive five-course dinners at Senses, the resort’s open-air Indian restaurant. Each evening will showcase a carefully curated Maldivian–Indian fusion menu, enhanced by creative pairings and his signature fine-dining approach.
