IndiGo, operates its first-ever non-stop flight between Mumbai and London (Heathrow), marking a major milestone in its ongoing international expansion. The daily service, operated on IndiGo’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, features a dual-class configuration — standard Economy and IndiGoStretch, the airline’s bespoke business product.
Heathrow, one of the world’s busiest and most strategic airports, represents an important addition to IndiGo’s growing global network. The new route connects two leading financial capitals — Mumbai and London — strengthening economic, cultural, and familial ties between India and the UK.
With this launch, Indian travellers now have the option to fly with IndiGo to London and connect further through its expanding codeshare network. Similarly, passengers from the UK can access IndiGo’s extensive domestic network of over 90 destinations across India.

The Mumbai–London flight further strengthens IndiGo’s long-haul strategy, following recent route launches to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Manchester. On its long-haul flights, IndiGo offers an enhanced onboard experience including complimentary hot meals and beverages, alcoholic drinks (available for purchase in Economy and complimentary for IndiGoStretch passengers), seatback entertainment screens with curated content, and additional amenities for a comfortable journey.
