IATO announces ‘Namaste India’ showcase in Europe following ITB Berlin

The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) announces an exciting Three city roadshow titled ‘Namaste India’, scheduled immediately after ITB Berlin. The roadshow will be hosted across three key European cities: Frankfurt, Paris, and Amsterdam.

The initiative aims to further strengthen inbound tourism to India by engaging directly with European tour operators and travel partners. All preparations for the roadshow are in place, with strong participation from Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, state tourism boards, and luxury travel stakeholders.

Approximately 18–20 tour operators and hotel representatives from India will participate in the showcase. Among the highlights of the event will be the promotion of the luxury train experience, the Maharajas’ Express, along with diverse tourism offerings from various Indian states.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Ravi Gosain, President of IATO, stated:

“It was a commercial task to accumulate funds, but we are committed to moving forward without hesitation. We will go ahead with this show, and in the future, we plan to organize similar roadshows in other key international markets.”

The “Namaste India” roadshow underscores IATO’s commitment to proactively promoting India as a preferred global tourism destination. By creating a direct networking platform between Indian suppliers and European buyers, the association aims to boost business partnerships and increase tourist arrivals from the region.

IATO remains confident that this focused outreach initiative will generate strong business leads and long-term collaborations, further positioning India as a diverse, vibrant, and world-class travel destination.
