Roseate Hotels & Resorts announces The Roseate Bhimtal

Roseate Hotels & Resorts announces the signing of The Roseate Bhimtal, a boutique lakeside retreat overlooking the serene Bhimtal Lake in Uttarakhand.

Scheduled to open in December 2026, the property marks a significant milestone for the brand as its first management property in India, further expanding the group’s presence in the country’s rapidly growing luxury leisure hospitality segment.

Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of the Kumaon region, The Roseate Bhimtal will feature 30 elegantly designed rooms, each offering uninterrupted views of Bhimtal Lake. The property will provide a suite of personalised experiences that combine nature, wellbeing and refined hospitality.

Located approximately five hours by road from Delhi, around 45 minutes from Nainital and about an hour from Pantnagar Airport, the resort will offer convenient accessibility for travellers seeking a tranquil escape from city life. Surrounded by lush forests and the calm waters of Bhimtal Lake, the property will be designed to offer an immersive experience centred around relaxation, wellness and quiet luxury.

Commenting on the announcement, Kush Kapoor, CEO of Roseate Hotels & Resorts, said, “The moment I set foot on this serene estate amidst verdant greens, with a breathtaking view of the iconic Bhimtal Lake, it aligned beautifully with our vision to extend the Roseate experience. The signing of The Roseate Bhimtal represents a significant step in the evolution of Roseate Hotels & Resorts, as we expand our portfolio through management partnerships. Uttarakhand continues to be a key leisure destination, and Bhimtal offers a unique combination of natural beauty, tranquillity and accessibility.”

The estate will soon enter a phase of strategic refurbishment and is expected to welcome guests in winter 2026. With its serene lakeside setting, personalised service and focus on immersive nature-led experiences, The Roseate Bhimtal is poised to become one of the most distinctive luxury retreats in the Kumaon region upon opening.
