Rail Europe has announced the integration of the BritRail Pass into its global B2B distribution ecosystem, further enhancing its offering for travel agents and tour operators worldwide.
The BritRail Pass, available exclusively to travellers residing outside the United Kingdom, enables seamless travel across the extensive National Rail network, spanning England, Wales and Scotland. The pass also provides access to key airport rail services, including the Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express, as well as overnight journeys such as the Caledonian Sleeper and Night Riviera.
In addition to the national pass, the portfolio includes a range of regional options tailored to different travel needs, covering England, Scotland, and the South West and South Wales. Most passes are available in both first and standard class, with flexible and consecutive validity options, alongside discounted fares for youth, seniors and children.
Travellers can also benefit from added value offerings, including 2-for-1 entry deals at select attractions across Great Britain, enhancing the overall travel experience.
Björn Bender, CEO of Rail Europe, said, “The BritRail Pass complements our existing portfolio and enables our global trade partners to build more flexible, higher-value Great Britain itineraries, particularly for long-haul markets where regional exploration is becoming increasingly important.”
The company further highlighted that the integration addresses key trade priorities, including operational simplicity, fare flexibility and the ability to create structured itineraries across Great Britain.
Rail Europe distributes the digital M-Pass version of the BritRail Pass through its B2B platforms, allowing travel partners to efficiently manage bookings and activate travel days via a QR code-based system.
