Le Passage to India (LPTI), marked World Tourism Day with a large-scale tree plantation drive under its CSR initiative “Shaping Lives,” in collaboration with Give Me Trees Trust. The activity saw LPTI plant 250 trees, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable growth. The initiative also held special significance this year, coinciding with LPTI’s 25th foundation year.
The initiative brought together colleagues from across the organisation to plant saplings as part of the drive. Choosing World Tourism Day for the activity was a deliberate gesture, reflecting LPTI’s belief that sustainable tourism begins with a genuine commitment to protecting the environment that makes India’s destinations so remarkable. Marking the occasion alongside the company’s 25th foundation year added further meaning to the initiative, symbolising a commitment to giving back to the country that has been central to LPTI’s growth story.
“Shaping Lives” is LPTI’s dedicated CSR platform through which the company channels its efforts towards community welfare, environmental sustainability and social responsibility. The collaboration with Give Me Trees Trust, an organisation renowned for its large-scale afforestation efforts across India, added further depth and expertise to the initiative.
