The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) has announces Sri Lanka as the host destination for its 2027 Convention. The upcoming convention will bring together members of India’s travel trade fraternity for industry discussions, networking, knowledge exchange and new business opportunities.
The announcement comes following the successful 15th TAFI Convention held in Rhodes, Greece, which brought together Indian travel agents and industry stakeholders for conversations around the evolving travel landscape and opportunities across international markets.
Sri Lanka’s selection as the host destination is expected to provide a platform to strengthen India–Sri Lanka travel trade ties while showcasing the island nation’s destinations, tourism products and experiences to Indian travel professionals. The convention will also create opportunities for greater engagement between the Indian travel trade and Sri Lankan tourism stakeholders.
