Qatar simplifies travel for Indian visitors with the A1 tourist visa

As Qatar solidifies its position as a must-visit destination for global travellers, planning a trip to the country has never been more seamless. For Indian travellers, visiting Qatar is now easier than ever with the A1 Tourist Visa simplifying the entry process.

The growing demand for Qatar is driven by its striking blend of heritage and innovation, the thriving modern art scene, its strategic location on the map, and its position as a global transit hub thanks to Qatar Airways’ vast network. The country offers desert and glamping adventures, wellness retreats, family attractions, immersive art and culture, Michelin-starred dining and a growing calendar of world-class sporting events, live entertainment and music festivals throughout the year.

Getting Started: The Hayya Platform
All visa applications are processed through the official Hayya platform at www.hayya.qa. The first step is to create a Hayya account. A quick tip: each adult application requires one Hayya account, linked to a single email address and the applicant’s passport, except for dependents, who may be linked to the primary applicant’s account.

Whether you are planning a leisure holiday, a business stopover, or a cultural deep-dive, here is a handy guide to the current visa options:

Tourist Visa (A1): A Simple Entry Option for Indian Travellers
