Visit Maldives Corporation announces the appointment of Nasrulla Adam (Nasru) as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
With over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Nasru has held senior roles across leading Maldivian resorts and international brands. He began his career at Sun Island Resort & Spa before moving on to key positions at Anantara Kihavah, Huvafen Fushi, Niyama, and Per Aquum Hotels. He later served as Director of Sales at Amilla Fushi, became the first Maldivian Director of Sales at Baros Maldives, and played pivotal roles in the openings of Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi and Patina Maldives. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development – Indian Ocean at JA Resorts & Hotels, overseeing JA Manafaru in the Maldives and JA Enchanted Island in Seychelles.
At Visit Maldives, Nasru will lead commercial strategy, partnerships, and market expansion. His appointment reflects both his proven expertise in luxury branding and the growing role of Maldivian professionals in shaping the nation’s tourism industry.
