Set against the tranquil backdrop of Ward’s Lake, the arena highlights the long-standing cultural exchange between India and Japan, symbolised by the cherry blossoms.

As Shillong’s hills bloom in pink, the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 invites visitors from across India and around the world to experience a unique fusion of nature, music and culture — celebrating the spirit of Meghalaya and the wider Northeast region.
