On March 29, 2026, World of Frozen – along with many new experiences – will open within Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland® Paris.
This historic moment marks a major milestone for Europe’s number one tourist destination, which will have nearly doubled the size of its second park following a multi-year transformation designed to push the boundaries of storytelling.
In just 125 days, Walt Disney Studios Park will officially become Disney Adventure World with the opening of Adventure Way — a majestic new main avenue featuring entertainment, a new attraction inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Tangled, 14 dining locations, and the debut of a vast lake called Adventure Bay, complete with a breathtaking nighttime spectacular. The highlight of this expansion, the impressive World of Frozen, will immerse guests in the beloved world of Arendelle. The kingdom will feature a new family attraction, a daytime show, a royal encounter with queens Anna and Elsa, character interactions including a true-to-size Olaf made possible through next-generation robotics, a tavern, and shops — offering an unforgettable journey into the heart of the iconic films.
While Disneyland Park® continues to evolve with timeless stories and enchanted tales, the destination’s reimagined second park will transport guests into the worlds inspired by Disney Animation, Pixar Animation Studios, and Marvel Studios films. Renamed Disney Adventure World from March 29, 2026, the park will host three immersive lands: the new World of Frozen, the colorful Worlds of Pixar, and the epic Marvel Avengers Campus, with a fourth world inspired by The Lion King to follow.
The transformation of more than 90% of the second park’s offerings since 2002 reflects Disneyland® Paris’ ambition to enhance the guest experience. Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland® Paris, shared: “March 29, 2026 will mark a historic milestone for Disneyland® Paris with the transformation of our second park into Disney Adventure World and the opening of its spectacular new expansion, featuring World of Frozen. This step continues the most ambitious transformation in our resort’s history, inviting guests to live their own adventures in extraordinary worlds inspired by Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel.”

A Unique Immersion into World of Frozen
World of Frozen has been designed as a fully realized recreation of Arendelle, complete with a Snowflower Festival bringing the village to life. Michel den Dulk, Vice-President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, noted that Imagineers collaborated across disciplines to create a world that “captures the spirit of the story and feels real and immersive.”
Architectural highlights include the 118-foot (36-meter) North Mountain crowned with Elsa’s Ice Palace. The lively village of Arendelle features Nordic-inspired buildings, water features, and reinterpreted musical themes from the films. Landscaping inspired by Scandinavian terrain enhances the experience.
At the center of the village, guests will enjoy Frozen Ever After, a family-friendly attraction featuring state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics, immersive projection technology, and a finale of snowflake-shaped fireworks.
