MATATO launches AI productivity workshop to strengthen Maldives tourism industry

The Maldives Association of Travel Agents & Tour Operators (MATATO) has announced the launch of an AI productivity workshop for the Maldives tourism industry, scheduled to be held on Sunday, 15 February 2026, starting from 08:00 hrs.

This one-day pilot programme is designed as an industry-wide capacity-building initiative, aimed at equipping tourism professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required to use artificial intelligence (AI) safely, responsibly, and productively in day-to-day operations.
