Narwar Lakefront Resort expands to 41 keys in Shivpuri

Narwar Lakefront Resort located on the Sindh River in Shivpuri  announces  the opening of twenty-one (21) additional lakefront cottages and rooms.

With this expansion, the resort now offers a total of 41 keys, including Premium Rooms, Cottages, and Villas—effectively doubling its accommodation capacity. This development reinforces Narwar Lakefront Resort’s evolution into one of Central India’s most compelling destination-led hospitality experiences. The enhanced inventory significantly strengthens its ability to host destination weddings, curated retreats, corporate offsites, and extended leisure stays, positioning it as a preferred venue for experiential travel and large-format celebrations in the region.

Navneet Sharma, CEO and MD of Lion Group, said, “The addition of 41 rooms allows us to welcome larger groups without compromising the personalised environment our guests truly value. This expansion also showcases our commitment to building Narwar into a distinctive destination rooted in nature, heritage, and meaningful hospitality.”

Thoughtfully designed with warm wooden flooring, soft ambient lighting, and sophisticated modern furnishings, the new rooms blend contemporary interiors with serene natural surroundings. Expansive glass doors open into private balcony sit-outs overlooking lush greenery and landscaped pathways—ideal for relaxed mornings and peaceful evenings. Each room features a plush king-size bed with premium linen, a dedicated seating area, a work desk, and curated in-room amenities to enhance guest comfort.

Set against the tranquil waters of the Sindh River near Madikheda Dam in Shivpuri, the expansion reflects growing demand for immersive, nature-driven luxury escapes close to key attractions such as Madhav National Park. The newly added inventory offers elevated comfort and expansive views while preserving the intimate and serene character that defines the Narwar Lakefront experience.

“Our focus has always been on creating a destination rather than simply adding inventory. The expanded capacity enables us to curate larger celebrations, wellness-led stays, and experiential programming while maintaining the quality standards and attention to detail that define the Narwar Lakefront experience,” Navneet Sharma added.

Beyond enhancing its guest offerings, the expansion is expected to contribute significantly to the local tourism ecosystem through increased employment generation, strengthened vendor partnerships, and the positioning of Narwar as an emerging hub for leisure, heritage, and destination events in Madhya Pradesh.

Spread across seven acres, the resort features spacious lake-view and pet-friendly cottages, multiple dining venues including Boat Club Café, Windmill Café, and Sapor restaurant, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and a dedicated kids’ play area—offering a comprehensive and immersive lakeside hospitality experience.
