All Nippon Airways and TV Asahi come together to promote ‘Shin Chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India’

For the first time ever, the beloved Japanese character Shin Chan arrives on the big screen in India with an exciting Indian-themed adventure, Shin Chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India. Directed by Masakazu Hashimoto and produced by Shin-Ei Animation, TV Asahi, ADK Emotions, and Futabasha, the film brings Shin Chan and his friends on a whimsical and culturally vibrant journey through India.

The collaboration between All Nippon Airways (ANA) and TV Asahi marks a landmark cultural initiative, aiming to bridge India and Japan through shared stories, humour, and entertainment.

Promotional Highlights Across India

The film’s promotional campaign, launched jointly by ANA and TV Asahi, is being rolled out across India through a mix of on-ground and digital activations:

  • Cos Con, Shillong – The PAN India campaign began with an exciting fan engagement event at Cos Con on August 30, 2025, which saw enthusiastic participation from Shin Chan fans.

  • Hello Blue Sale – On September 5, 2025, ANA launched its Hello Blue Sale campaign featuring Shin Chan characters. Running from September to November 2025, the campaign offers attractive deals and branding collaborations.

  • Exclusive Premiere Event – On September 20, 2025, the film premiered at a local suburban multiplex to an invite-only audience of media and VIPs. ANA hosted an on-ground booth at the venue, where fans engaged in interactive activities, including the Gara Gara Pon (Lucky Draw). Winners received exclusive ANA and Shin Chan merchandise across multiple prize tiers.

  • Cinematic Promotion – From September 26, 2025, ANA’s logo will be displayed on movie screens alongside other promotional partners throughout the screening of the film.

  • Digital Engagement at PVR Cinemas – A special online campaign was launched on September 20, 2025, running until October 16, 2025, at select PVR cinemas. Fans are invited to scan a QR code and subscribe for a chance to win 2 free round-trip tickets to Japan. All subscribers also receive a 15% discount, subject to terms and conditions.

  • Social Media Campaigns – ANA and TV Asahi began a joint social media campaign via Facebook starting September 26, 2025, engaging fans across platforms for a limited promotional period.
