Kerzner International and Assets Group announces the launch of Atlantis The Royal, Maldives, a groundbreaking resort designed to redefine luxury, entertainment, and family-friendly experiences in the Indian Ocean.
The project is a collaboration between Kerzner International, the team behind Dubai’s renowned Atlantis The Royal, and Assets Group, combining world-class hospitality with innovative design and sustainability principles.
Located on Vaaredhdhoo Faru Island in South Male Atoll, the resort spans over 1.3 million square metres and features more than 5.8 kilometres of pristine beaches. Guests can access the island in just 10 minutes by seaplane or 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé International Airport.
Atlantis The Royal, Maldives will comprise two islands—Family Island and Luxury Island—offering a total of 493 accommodations, including 270 hotel rooms and 223 villas and mansions. The resort will feature 20 dining venues, two beach clubs, and the spectacular Aquaventure waterpark, covering 70,000 square metres with 15 rides anchored by the Neptune and Poseidon Towers.
Blending luxury with family entertainment, the resort will offer sports academies, wellness centres, entertainment zones, and marine life attractions. Aquaventure will showcase native Maldivian marine life alongside a Lost Chambers Aquarium, with sustainability embedded in the design and operations.
Wellness amenities include a world-class spa, yoga and breathwork platforms, a beauty salon, a recovery studio, and an indoor-outdoor fitness centre. Retail outlets and event venues will further enhance the guest experience, making Atlantis The Royal, Maldives a premier destination for relaxation, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
