Buffalo Trace Distillery brings Kentucky bourbon experience to Mumbai

Buffalo Trace Distillery, maker of world-renowned bourbons including Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Eagle Rare, Sazerac Rye, W.L. Weller, and Pappy Van Winkle, concluded its three-day pop-up in India this past weekend. The immersive, multi-sensory event celebrated the distillery’s centuries-old craftsmanship through curated tastings, storytelling sessions, and interactive experiences.

Hosted at Palladium Mumbai – Courtyard, the pop-up welcomed spirits enthusiasts, industry professionals, and whiskey connoisseurs to explore the heritage and artistry behind Buffalo Trace’s portfolio, featuring Benchmark Bourbon, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and Weller Wheated Bourbon.

Attendees included notable industry figures such as Lara Balsara Vajifdar, Tanuj Garg, Jayesh Yagnik, Pradeep Diwedi, Esha Amin, Mini Sood Banerjee, Pravir Sethi, and A.D. Singh. Diego Bianchi, VP, Global Hubs at Sazerac, said: “Buffalo Trace Distillery’s unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, aging, and quality distilling has earned it fans worldwide, and we’re thrilled to share that experience with consumers in India. Guests explored curated zones including guided bourbon tastings, a scent bar, leather workshop, and chocolate station, each highlighting the nuanced notes and craftsmanship of Buffalo Trace whiskeys. Personalized keepsakes allowed attendees to take a piece of the distillery experience home.

As Buffalo Trace Distillery continues to expand its footprint in India, it plans to host more curated experiences in new cities, strengthening its connection with the country’s growing whiskey culture.
