Centara Hotels & Resorts announces the official opening of Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, marking the group’s first-ever property in Nepal and further expanding its international portfolio of distinctive destinations.
Nestled in the serene hills of Kaskikot, just 35 minutes from Pokhara, the resort offers a secluded Himalayan retreat where contemporary comfort meets the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) and direct access to the Sarangkot Loop Trail, creating a peaceful setting for cultural discovery, meaningful downtime, and restorative wellness.

As part of The Centara Collection, a curated portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels defined by individuality and a sense of place, Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara features 42 spacious rooms, suites, and villas ranging from 75 to 128 square metres. Accommodations, thoughtfully designed with soothing wooden tones and authentic Nepali touches, include private gardens or expansive balconies, with all suites and villas offering separate living areas. Room types include Deluxe Garden Terrace rooms, Skylight Suites, One Bedroom Villas, and One Bedroom Pool Villas, accommodating couples, families, and small groups.
Guests can rejuvenate at Cense by SPA Cenvaree, enjoy yoga sessions, use the fully equipped gym, relax in the infrared sauna, or take in mountain views from the outdoor swimming pool. The resort also features a rooftop terrace, cocktail terrace, private fire pit setups, a play-and-chill room, and an intimate meeting room, making it ideal for executive retreats and small social gatherings.
Dining options reflect local and regional flavors.
