Among five-star establishments, it distinguishes those that display truly exceptional qualities and offer an unparalleled standard of service, heritage, architecture, location, and attention to detail. As paragons of the ultra-luxury hotel industry, these properties contribute to the international prestige of French culture and to the global appeal of France as a premier destination.
To date, only 31 establishments in France hold this distinction, including eight located on the Côte d’Azur – South-East region.
