The Delhi government announces the launch of four curated tourism circuits along with a specialised guided heritage walk, set to begin on 20 February 2026, marking the successful completion of the administration’s first year in office.
Implemented through the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), the initiative is designed to offer residents and international visitors a structured and immersive way to explore Delhi’s rich historical, cultural, and architectural heritage. The programme aims to strengthen public engagement with the capital’s layered past while simplifying travel logistics across the expansive city.
The four themed circuits—Dilli Ki Dharohar, Dilli ka Dil aur Virasat, Dilli ka Rahasya, and Dilli Dekho Dil Se—will operate daily except Mondays. Each circuit is structured as a half-day guided tour, supported by organised bus transport from a designated reporting point. Bookings will be managed online, with participants receiving detailed instructions upon confirmation.
The Dilli Ki Dharohar circuit will run from 8 am to 2 pm, covering sites such as Agrasen ki Baoli, Purana Qila, and Akshardham Mandir, along with drive-past views of India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and Bharat Mandapam. Ticket prices are set at ₹315 for adults and ₹157 for children.
The evening circuit, Dilli ka Dil aur Virasat, will operate from 4 pm to 9.30 pm, featuring the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, National War Memorial, Kartavya Path, Qutub Complex, and Dilli Haat at INA, alongside illuminated government buildings and embassy areas. Pricing for this circuit is ₹420 for adults and ₹210 for children.
In addition, the DTTDC will introduce a Haunted Heritage Walk at Malcha Mahal from 20 February. Primarily scheduled on weekends, the guided walk focuses on Delhi’s lesser-known legends and folklore. Group bookings will be accepted with a minimum of six participants, priced at ₹550 per person.
Officials stated that more heritage walks and cultural activities are planned in the coming weeks. The initiative is positioned as a strategic step to boost tourism, encourage residents to rediscover the city’s heritage, and enhance Delhi’s standing as a global tourism destination through organised, accessible, and educational travel experiences.
