Emirates and Marriott International signs an agreement to open Emirates Wolgan Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Lodge, a 40-key all-inclusive luxury lodge set within a 7,000-acre conservation reserve in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area. Anticipated to open in mid-2026, the lodge marks the first Ritz-Carlton Lodge in the world and represents a milestone for New South Wales regional tourism.
Nestled within pristine wilderness, the lodge occupies less than two percent of the site, offering guests unparalleled privacy and access to rare native flora, wildlife, and night skies. Guests will enjoy 40 elegantly appointed lodges with private pools, bespoke amenities, and signature experiences including guided wilderness sleep-outs, immersive conservation activities, and local culinary offerings.

The lodge will feature a main homestead with a signature restaurant, lounge bar, wine room, spa, recreational facilities including an outdoor pool, tennis courts, equestrian stables, a fitness centre, and a dedicated naturalist hub for curated conservation-led experiences.
Emirates has invested AU$150 million since 2006 in the Wolgan Valley Resort and an additional AU$50 million for renovations, restoring heritage landmarks, planting over one million native trees, and supporting local communities. The lodge is expected to generate approximately 150 local jobs and benefit regional suppliers.
