The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) will jointly host the “Viksit Delhi – Viksit Tourism & Hospitality” Summit on December 10, 2025, at Le Meridien, New Delhi. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The summit aims to further the vision of a Viksit Delhi by positioning tourism and hospitality as key drivers of economic growth. It will acknowledge the Delhi Government’s progressive policy reforms, which have significantly enhanced the ease of doing business and encouraged increased investment in the capital’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
The event will convene policymakers, industry leaders, tourism stakeholders, urban planners, experts, and members of the travel trade to deliberate on Delhi’s potential as a world-class tourism and hospitality hub. Key sessions will explore critical areas such as destination development, branding, investment opportunities, and policy interventions needed to strengthen the sector’s business environment.
A highlight of the programme will be a panel discussion titled “Branding Delhi for Growth Opportunities”, featuring representatives from the tourism authority, academia, skill development organisations, urban bodies, and industry associations. Presentations on ongoing initiatives will offer insights into the capital’s evolving tourism landscape.
The event will also feature the Delhi Edition of the Awards of Excellence, honouring exceptional contributors to Delhi’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem.
Speaking about the summit, Mr. Surendra Jaiswal, President, FHRAI, said:
“Delhi has all the ingredients to emerge as one of the world’s leading tourism and hospitality destinations. The government’s focus on ease of doing business has created strong momentum. This summit will help align priorities and accelerate Delhi’s growth story.”
