Fiji Tourism Exchange returns on March 27-28 2026 with global focus

Tourism Fiji announces the return of the Fiji Tourism Exchange (FTE), set to take place from March 27–28, 2026. The event will once again bring together global travel trade professionals, media representatives, and Fiji’s vibrant tourism operators for two days of networking, collaboration, and showcasing the best of Fiji’s tourism experiences.

According to Tourism Fiji, the 2025 edition of FTE highlighted the event’s growing global impact, drawing participants from 19 countries. The event hosted 147 international buyers and media alongside 84 local tourism businesses, underscoring FTE’s role as a key driver of tourism growth.

Over the course of two days, FTE 2025 facilitated more than 4,300 business meetings and welcomed 560 attendees, further solidifying its reputation as a highly productive and results-oriented trade platform.

Building on this momentum, the 2026 edition promises an even broader international reach, enhanced networking opportunities, and a stronger emphasis on sustainability and authentic Fijian cultural storytelling.

Organisers have also introduced new and innovative formats designed to deepen engagement between sellers and buyers, adapting to the fast-evolving global travel landscape.

The event’s timing—just ahead of Fiji’s peak tourism season—has been strategically chosen to help international partners plan ahead, while maximising visibility and bookings for local operators.
