GNTO India concludes four-city roadshow, sees rising demand from Indian travelers

The German National Tourist Office (GNTO), India successfully concluded its highly anticipated roadshow across Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai from 17–20 November 2025. The four-city tour attracted over 120 travel agents per city, underlining India’s continued significance as one of Germany’s key outbound tourism markets.

The event brought together leading industry partners, including Lufthansa Group, Rail Europe, Visit Berlin, and Value Retail, to showcase Germany’s diverse travel offerings—from vibrant city experiences and cultural heritage to luxury shopping and world-class air and rail connectivity. The roadshow highlighted why Germany continues to be a preferred destination for Indian travelers.

With over 650,000 overnight stays by Indian visitors until September 2025, Germany remains among the top three European destinations for Indian tourists. Indian travelers are also extending their stays, with the average trip length rising to 9.6 days, reflecting growing interest in immersive experiences.

  • Culinary Germany: Celebrating regional specialties, gourmet dining, Michelin-starred restaurants, and immersive food trails.

  • Honeymoon and Wedding Travel: Promoting romantic destinations, castles, scenic landscapes, and luxury hospitality for couples.

  • Season’s Greetings: Highlighting Germany’s festive markets, seasonal events, and winter charm appealing to families, couples, and FIT travelers.

The roadshow and upcoming campaigns underscore GNTO India’s commitment to providing diverse, experience-led travel options, ensuring Germany continues to capture the imagination of Indian travelers in 2026 and beyond.
