IndiGo announces the commencement of daily, direct flights between Rewa and Indore, further strengthening air connectivity within Madhya Pradesh. With this launch, Rewa becomes IndiGo’s sixth destination in the state, after Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur and Khajuraho.
The new service is expected to open air travel opportunities for many first-time flyers across the Vindhya region. Operated by IndiGo’s ATR aircraft, the direct connection significantly reduces travel time between Rewa and Indore from nearly 10 hours to approximately 1.5 hours, offering faster, more convenient access for passengers.
This improved connectivity is set to support the growth of tourism, trade, healthcare and education in the region, while reinforcing IndiGo’s commitment to enhancing accessibility across emerging markets. Rewa also serves as a key gateway to nearby districts such as Satna, Sidhi and Singrauli, which are witnessing steady economic growth, increasing investments and rapid infrastructure development.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said, “We are pleased to commence daily, direct flights between Rewa and Indore. This new service will facilitate faster travel for people across Madhya Pradesh and connect them seamlessly to the broader IndiGo network. At IndiGo, we remain committed to building direct connectivity to emerging destinations, strengthening local economies, and making air travel more accessible.”
With this addition, IndiGo continues to expand its domestic network, supporting regional development and offering greater convenience to travellers across India.
