IndiGo commences daily, direct flights between Delhi and Guangzhou

IndiGo, commenced daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Guangzhou, strengthening air connectivity between India and China. The route, operated by IndiGo’s A320neo aircraft, offers passengers an affordable, convenient, and comfortable travel experience.

Last month, IndiGo became the first Indian airline to resume connectivity to China by reinstating flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou. With this new route, IndiGo now connects Delhi to 21 international destinations, reinforcing Delhi’s position as a strategic hub for regional and global connectivity.

Mr. Pieter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer at IndiGo, said, “Following the successful resumption of our Kolkata–Guangzhou flights, we are delighted to expand IndiGo’s presence in China with this new daily connection from Delhi. This route will strengthen travel options and encourage economic and cultural exchange between the two nations. It will also connect Guangzhou to IndiGo’s extensive domestic network of 90+ destinations, offering seamless access across India for Chinese travelers. We are grateful to both governments for their support in restoring these important links, which will open new opportunities for trade, tourism, and collaboration.”

As IndiGo continues its international expansion, the airline remains committed to building strategic air corridors that enhance regional connectivity and unlock growth across markets.
