InterContinental Hotels & Resorts unveils The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort, marking a new chapter in luxury residential living on Phuket’s sought-after Kamala Beach. Set between emerald hills and the tranquil Andaman Sea, the development introduces a refined, wellness-led approach to contemporary Asian living, defined by calm design, discreet hospitality, and a strong sense of place.

Developed by Proud Real Estate Public Company Limited in collaboration with IHG Hotels & Resorts, the THB 2.5 billion project is InterContinental’s second branded residential venture in Thailand, following the successful InterContinental Residences Hua Hin. Located alongside the Two MICHELIN Keys InterContinental Phuket Resort, the residences offer a private yet fully serviced lifestyle, blending the comforts of home with the brand’s hallmark hospitality.
Nestled between rainforest ridges and one of Phuket’s most desirable coastlines, the residences form part of a masterplan inspired by Tribhumikatha cosmology. The hotel represents the “Heart of Heaven,” the landscaped gardens the “Garden of Heaven,” and the residences the “Far East Paradise,” creating a harmonious design trilogy that connects architecture, nature, and everyday living.
The architectural vision by Habita Architects reinterprets Phuket’s Sino-European heritage through a modern lens. Stone façades, shaded colonnades, and recessed forms soften the structures, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the hillside. Carefully angled buildings maximise mountain and sea views while maintaining privacy, with courtyards and ventilated screens enhancing natural light and airflow.
Interiors by PIA Interior reflect a modern sanctuary inspired by Peranakan artistry and Thai cultural narratives. Subtle colour palettes, natural materials, and cross-ventilated layouts create calm, fluid living spaces that evolve with the changing daylight, emphasising warmth, openness, and understated elegance.

The landscaped grounds, designed by PLA Landscape, draw inspiration from the mythical Himmapan forest, with layered greenery, shaded pathways, and narrative garden zones. At the heart of the development lies the Paradise Garden Court, anchored by the Sala Pavilion, a central gathering space symbolising the union of nature, heritage, and contemporary living.
Wellness is embedded throughout the project, which is progressing towards Fitwel Certification. Sustainable features include rooftop solar panels, water management systems, grey-water recycling, abundant natural light, and cross-ventilation. Residents have access to hydro-massage pools, Technogym-equipped fitness spaces, meditation areas, nearly 2,000 square metres of green space, and full privileges at the resort’s Sati Spa and MICHELIN-recognised dining venues.
Comprising just 111 low-density residences across two seven-storey buildings and a dedicated facilities pavilion, the development offers one- to five-bedroom homes, including penthouses and pool residences, with prices starting from THB 15 million. Concierge services, private dining, yacht charters, and bespoke wellness experiences extend the InterContinental lifestyle into everyday living.
As Phuket continues to emerge as Asia’s leading branded residence destination, The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort reflect the evolving preferences of discerning homeowners from India and across the region—seeking authenticity, sustainability, privacy, and service excellence. Defined by quiet confidence rather than spectacle, the project offers a serene coastal sanctuary where luxury is measured in balance, comfort, and calm.
“We designed a home that breathes” shares Proudputh Liptapanlop Executive Director of Proud Real Estate. “Light material proportion all serve the idea of effortless living where natural calm becomes part of the architecture.”
