Ethiopian airlines announces new passenger route to Hyderabad, India

Ethiopian Airlines, announces the launch of a new thrice-weekly passenger service to Hyderabad, India, starting June 16, 2025. This new route demonstrates Ethiopian Airlines’ ongoing commitment to expanding its global network and enhancing connectivity between Africa and Asia, offering passengers convenient and efficient travel options.

The new service operates with three mid-day departures from Addis Ababa to Hyderabad and morning returns as per the schedule below:

  • ET 682 Addis Ababa (ADD) → Hyderabad (HYD) – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

  • ET 683 Hyderabad (HYD) → Addis Ababa (ADD) – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, states, “We are delighted to commence a new passenger service to Hyderabad. Ethiopian Airlines currently offers over fifty weekly flights to five Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Chennai. With the addition of Hyderabad, Ethiopian solidifies its presence in India and broadens flight alternatives for travelers within and beyond the region.
