Through this roadshow series, we aim to catalyse domestic inbound travel and strengthen Karnataka’s visibility among the travel trade in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It’s a strategic step to deepen regional partnerships and showcase the state’s unmatched tourism potential.”

Mr D. Venkatesan, Regional Director (South), Indiatourism Chennai, added:
“With its diverse portfolio of tourism products, Karnataka is emerging as one of the most dynamic states for both leisure and business travel. Domestic tourism remains the backbone of our tourism economy, and initiatives like these roadshows are vital in unlocking its full potential. This campaign seeks to enhance inter-state tourism cooperation and support domestic tourism promotion under the Ministry of Tourism’s ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiative.”

Representatives from KTS will engage directly with state tourism officials, travel company leaders, and tour operators to build regional partnerships and explore new business opportunities.

In the next phase, KTS plans to extend the campaign to state capitals and Tier-2 cities across Central India, further strengthening Karnataka’s national tourism footprint and deepening trade engagement.
