Qatar Airways unveils its first-ever digital destination, QVerse Island, within Fortnite, one of the world’s most popular digital gaming environments. The immersive experience reimagines Doha, offering travellers a new and interactive way to explore the destination while engaging with the airline’s brand universe.
The experience begins at Hamad International Airport, where players meet Sama, Qatar Airways’ digital cabin crew, who guides them through the island. Players can explore key locations such as The ORCHARD, take part in mission-based challenges across Doha’s iconic landmarks, and uncover hidden areas containing “golden tickets” that unlock opportunities to win travel rewards and flights.
Sama plays a central role as the in-world guide, strengthening Qatar Airways’ digital identity across platforms including QVerse, online brand storytelling, and experiential activations. Her presence in Fortnite extends the airline’s brand into a new digital space, creating continuity across its immersive and interactive experiences.
