Under the glow of the full moon, Six Senses Fort Barwara invites guests into a moment of pause and alignment with its inaugural Lunar Retreat – a full-day wellness journey designed to harness the moon’s restorative energy. Rooted in ancient lunar wisdom and Six Senses’ integrative wellness philosophy, the retreat supports winter digestion, enhances mental clarity, and nurtures emotional balance through mindful rituals and spiritual practices.
Launched on the first new moon of 2026, the retreat will be offered monthly to coincide with key lunar phases. Guests begin mid-morning with a Self & Moon Connection Ritual, exploring breathwork, journaling, aroma, and sound to cultivate emotional awareness. This is followed by a Full Moon Digestive Drink Bar featuring light, warming preparations to support digestion and prepare the body for evening practices.
As night falls, participants engage in a Chandra Namaskar session paired with sound healing, promoting emotional release and nervous system relaxation. The day culminates in a Full Moon Mantra Ceremony led by a Panditji, including sacred chants, aarti, and intention-setting rituals to release emotional weight and invite renewed purpose.
Rajat Gera, Commercial Director, Six Senses Fort Barwara, said, “The Lunar Retreat is a gentle yet powerful invitation to slow down and reconnect with oneself, with nature, and with the rhythms of the moon. Each ritual has been carefully curated to support emotional balance and inner clarity, especially during the introspective winter months.”
The retreat concludes with a soothing winter herbal infusion, allowing guests to integrate the day’s practices and carry the essence of lunar alignment beyond the fort. Blending movement, nourishment, and ritual, the Lunar Retreat offers a deeply immersive space for reflection, renewal, and emotional clarity in the historic setting of Six Senses Fort Barwara.
