Thomas Cook (India) Limited, has been appointed as the exclusive partner for accommodation and transport for the Asian Aquatics Championships 2025. Organized by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) and supported by the Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG), the event marks India’s first-ever hosting of the Asian Aquatics Championships, a landmark moment for Indian sports.
Thomas Cook India’s MICE team will manage end-to-end operations across accommodation, transport, logistics, airport arrivals, and F&B coordination for a contingent of over 1,100 participants, including 650+ athletes, 60+ support staff, and dignitaries from 29 Asian countries, competing across swimming, artistic swimming, diving, and water polo at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad.
To ensure seamless operations, a dedicated team of 40+ MICE professionals has been deployed to manage logistics across six hotel locations over 15 days.
Airport Arrival & Departure Services
Thomas Cook’s airport operations team will oversee all arrivals and departures, providing 24/7 on-ground assistance at Ahmedabad’s international and domestic terminals. Exclusive parking bays and dedicated SFI, SAG, and Thomas Cook personnel will ensure efficient customs facilitation and smooth transfers for participants and delegates.
Logistics Management
Premium coaches, cars, and pre-planned shuttle services will guarantee timely mobility, supported by a 24/7 logistics control centre to coordinate operations and maintain efficiency throughout the championships.
Accommodation & F&B Management
In collaboration with leading hotel partners, Thomas Cook India will curate exceptional Indian and international culinary experiences, offering vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free, and diverse Asian, Middle Eastern, and continental options tailored to participants’ preferences.
