IATO delegation meets Hon’ble Deputy CM, Odisha to extend invitation for 40th IATO Annual Convention in Puri, Odisha

The IATO team, led by Mr. Ravi Gosain, President, meets Smt. Pravati Parida, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister of Odisha, to invite her for the 40th IATO Annual Convention, scheduled to be held from 22nd to 25th August 2025 at Swosti Premium Spa & Resorts, Puri, Odisha. The IATO delegation includes Mr. Sanjay Razdan – Vice President, Mr. Rajiv Mehra – Immediate Past President, Mr. J.K. Mohanty – Chairman, IATO Eastern Region, and Mr. Gagan Sarangi – Chairman, IATO Odisha Chapter, and they meet the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister.

Mr. Ravi Gosain informs that the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister gives her consent to join the convention and assures her full support, along with the support from the Directorate of Tourism, Govt. of Odisha, and OTDC. She also mentions that special arrangements with seamless entry will be made for the IATO delegates to visit the Lord Jagannath Temple and the beautification of Puri Beach during the convention. She also agrees to the request to host IATO delegates at Odisha Tourism Development Corporation properties for the post-convention tours.

After the meeting, the IATO delegation meets Smt. Mansi Nimbhal, Director (Tourism), Govt. of Odisha, to invite her for the convention and seek her support, which she assures.

With the support of Odisha Tourism, the 40th IATO Annual Convention is set to be held from 22nd to 25th August 2025 in Puri, Odisha. Odisha is the host state of the convention, and in addition to the host state, the Ministry of Tourism and the Government of India, along with 15-18 states, are expected to participate.

Swosti Premium Beach Resort, Puri, is the venue hotel, and all activities on all three days – registration for the convention, the inaugural function, business sessions, and the evening program – will take place at Swosti Premium Beach Resort, Puri. About 1000-1200 delegates from across the country are expected to attend, including senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and various states, industry leaders, tourism and hospitality professionals, and travel trade media. Post-convention tours are being organized to showcase Odisha to tourism stakeholders, with plans to promote it in both overseas and domestic markets.
