The Cocoon Collection Maldives launched its first signature roadshow of the season in Raipur and Indore, offering a slice of island paradise to Central India. The event was led by Thoha Ali, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Aishath Maisha, Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing, with support from India representatives Simmi Pai and Satyeash Pai, Co-Founders of TAWI Facilities. Yorker DMC also joined the event, represented by CEO Sanjiv Gosain and Product Manager Ashish Lamba.
The roadshow highlighted the group’s transformation from tour operators to hoteliers, adding a relatable edge that resonated with the travel community. The Cocoon Collection’s three standout properties were showcased: You & Me Maldives, known for its adults-only ambiance and Michelin-star underwater dining; Cocoon Maldives, featuring Italian design and family-friendly facilities; and Joy Island, a vibrant escape for groups and MICE travellers with activities like paddle tennis, snorkelling, and daily entertainment.
This roadshow wasn’t just a presentation—it was a celebration of Maldivian hospitality. Through immersive sessions, engaging storytelling, and one-on-one discussions, The Cocoon Collection inspired travel partners and built stronger trade connections, laying the groundwork for a successful season of sun-soaked escapes.
Speaking at the event, Thoha Ali emphasized that “The Cocoon Collection Maldives is actively expanding its presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India. He highlighted that these emerging markets hold tremendous potential, with a growing population of travelers seeking high-quality, personalized vacation experiences. Central India, in particular, is showing strong appetite for luxury travel to destinations like the Maldives, making it a key focus area for the brand’s outreach strategy.”
