AndamanExperts.com, successfully organized a Fam Trip for 22 inbound tour operators with the aim of positioning the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on the global tourism map.
The six-day, five-night trip covered key destinations including Shri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Swarajdweep (Havelock Island), Saheed Dweep (Neil Island), and Baratang Island, giving delegates a first-hand experience of the region’s natural beauty and unique tourism offerings.
The Fam Trip was organized in partnership with leading hospitality and travel partners including Makruzz (Ferry Operator), CGH Earth Tilar Siro, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Symphony Group of Hotels, SeaShell Group of Hotels, ITC Welcomhotel Bay Island, Lemon Tree Hotel, Coral Reef Resorts, and Zone Connect by The Park.
The delegation was led by senior officials of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), including Mr. Ravi Gosain, President, Mr. Rajnish Kaistha, Sr. Vice President, Mr. Sanjay Rajdan, Vice President, Mr. Sunil Mishra, Hony. Secretary, and Mr. Vinay Tyagi, Hony. Joint Secretary, along with Executive Committee members.
During their visit, the delegation met with Dr. Chandra Bhusan Kumar (IAS), Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Sachin Shinde, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Ms. Jyoti Kumari, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Mr. Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Director Tourism, and other key officials. Discussions focused on the islands’ tourism potential, challenges, and future opportunities for growth.
The IATO Fam Trip delegates described the visit as highly productive and assured their continued efforts to promote the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in international markets, further strengthening its position as a must-visit destination.
