IHG Hotels unveils its next wave of global luxury openings

IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its global luxury and lifestyle portfolio with a remarkable lineup of openings and transformations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas through 2026. From the first Six Senses in the UK to record-breaking architectural icons in Dubai, the latest developments underscore IHG’s commitment to design-led luxury, wellness, and sustainability.

Six Senses: Expanding Wellness and Design Frontiers

Leading the portfolio’s growth, Six Senses London marks the brand’s UK debut and signals its continued urban evolution. Located within the restored Whiteley building near Hyde Park, the property introduces the first-ever Six Senses Place, a private members’ club for wellness, connection, and learning. The hotel features 109 rooms, 14 residences, and a spa blending modern and traditional therapies.

Further expanding its European presence, Six Senses Milan (opening Winter 2026) will anchor the city’s Brera quarter with 85 rooms, artisanal interiors, and a rooftop pool. In the Middle East, Six Senses AMAALA (Saudi Arabia) and Six Senses Dubai The Palm (UAE), both opening in 2026, will redefine sustainability and luxury with eco-conscious design and immersive wellness experiences.

Regent Hotels & Resorts: Elevated Elegance

Regent Jeddah Corniche will be the first Regent property in the Middle East when it opens in Winter 2026. Soaring 29 stories above the Red Sea, it will feature 182 rooms, five penthouses, and a 1,500-square-meter Regent Spa – setting a new benchmark for refined Arabian hospitality.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants: Distinctive, Boutique, and Global

  • Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya (Mexico) – an eco-luxury retreat in a nature park with 355 suites and immersive dining.

Vignette Collection and InterContinental: Icons Reimagined

The Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection (opening late 2025) will claim the title of the world’s tallest hotel at 365 meters, offering 1,000+ rooms, eight dining venues, and the record-setting Tattu Sky Pool & Lounge.

The InterContinental brand continues its legacy of global luxury with transformative projects and exciting debuts:

  • InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town, South Africa (late 2025) – reopens after a multimillion-dollar renovation.

  • InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach, Australia (early 2026) – a refreshed coastal icon with ocean-view suites and dining by Chef Rick Stein.

A Vision for Global Luxury Hospitality

These additions reinforce IHG’s leadership in the luxury and lifestyle segment, where the company now boasts one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing portfolios. Through pioneering design, authentic experiences, and responsible development, IHG continues to meet the evolving desires of modern travellers seeking connection, wellbeing, and sophistication.
