The Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 8 January 2026 in Jaipur, marking the commencement of a new leadership term for 2026–2028. The General Body unanimously elected the new Management Committee, reflecting strong unity, confidence, and a shared vision for the future of Rajasthan’s tourism and hospitality sector.
Shri Surendra Singh Shahpura was elected as President of FHTR, while Shri Tarun Kumar Bansal was appointed Secretary General for the 2026–28 term.
Newly Elected Executive Leadership Team:
• Senior Vice President: Mr. Rajendra Singh Pachar
• Vice Presidents: Mr. Gyan Prakash and Mr. Mahendra Singh Rathore
• Treasurer: Mr. Rajendra Singh Jodha
• Joint Secretary: Mr. Hemant Mittal
Following the election, President Shri Surendra Singh Shahpura expressed his sincere gratitude to the members for their continued trust and support. He reaffirmed the new committee’s commitment to strengthening Rajasthan’s hospitality and tourism ecosystem through innovation, collaboration, and effective advocacy with all stakeholders.
Founder Member Shri Bhim Singh continues as President Honour of FHTR, providing guidance and direction with his vision and vast industry experience.
The Founder Members of FHTR—Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, CA Virendra S. Shekhawat, Mr. Rishipal Singh, Mr. Khalid Khan, Mr. Sunil Gupta, Mr. Ajay Agarwal, Ms. Aditi Singh, and Mr. Angad Deo Mandawa—remain an integral part of the Management Committee, ensuring continuity, institutional memory, and strategic leadership.
Ms. Madhuwanti Singh was also present at the meeting.
In addition, the newly elected Managing Committee Members include a distinguished group of industry professionals: Mr. Satinder Pal Singh, Mr. Deependra Rana, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Mr. Manish Bhatia, and Mr. Jitendra Singh Rathore.
