Madhya Pradesh Tourism Pavilion Blends Technology with Tourism Experiences

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Pavilion presents the state’s historical monuments, rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, wildlife tourism and diverse travel experiences through modern technological innovations. Large digital screens, interactive kiosks and digital displays are enabling visitors to explore the state’s major tourist destinations and discover the experiences available across the region.

A key attraction of the pavilion is its AI-powered digital initiative featuring the AI avatar ‘Mowgli’. Through this interactive digital avatar, visitors can obtain information about Madhya Pradesh’s tourism destinations, local experiences and travel options tailored to their interests.

The AI avatar also assists visitors in developing potential travel itineraries based on their preferences and travel requirements. This initiative reflects Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s efforts to integrate digital innovation with travel planning, making destination discovery more interactive, personalised and accessible.

Tourism Village Panchvati Offers an Authentic Glimpse of Rural Madhya Pradesh

A dedicated rural tourism exhibition has been developed at Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2026 to showcase the authenticity and richness of rural life in the state.

Visitors are experiencing the vibrant cultural traditions and rural lifestyle of Madhya Pradesh through traditional homestay experiences, bullock-cart rides, performances by local folk musicians and traditional crafts such as pottery-making.

The exhibition aims to connect rural landscapes, local traditions, folk arts and traditional skills with tourism, offering visitors an immersive experience of village life. The initiative also represents an important step towards promoting rural tourism, creating new livelihood opportunities for local performers and artisans, and strengthening the participation of rural communities in the tourism economy.

Meanwhile, the Art and Craft stalls are showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s rich creative heritage through traditional crafts, including Bagh Print, Chanderi Sarees, Bhil Art, Batik Print and other indigenous handicrafts.

These initiatives are playing an important role in connecting local artisans, craftspeople and entrepreneurs associated with rural tourism to wider markets, while helping preserve and promote the state’s distinctive artistic traditions.

Promoting Responsible Tourism Through Environment-Friendly Practices

Alongside tourism development, MPTM 2026 places considerable emphasis on environmental conservation and responsible tourism practices.

The event has been organised with paperless operations and a completely single-use plastic-free environment. The use of locally sourced jute and fabric kits for guests, traditional earthenware and clay cups, and environmentally friendly handicraft products is being encouraged as part of the initiative.

To reduce the event’s carbon footprint, electric vehicles (EVs) are being used for guest transportation. In addition, B2B meetings are facilitating discussions and business partnerships around environmentally conscious tourism, rural tourism and responsible tourism practices.

These measures reflect the event’s focus on integrating sustainability into tourism promotion while encouraging environmentally responsible practices across the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s Position on the Global Tourism Map

The third day of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2026 continues to advance the objective of showcasing the state’s tourism diversity, technological innovation, local art and culture, and commitment to sustainable tourism on a common platform.

By bringing together tourism stakeholders, encouraging dialogue and collaboration, and creating new business opportunities, the event is contributing to the development of a stronger tourism ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh.

The exhibition reinforces the state’s efforts to combine its rich cultural and natural heritage with modern technology, sustainable practices and community-led tourism, further strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s position on the national and international tourism map.
