The Peninsula Hotels brings its celebrated luxury hospitality beyond its hotels with the European debut of The Peninsula Motoring Series, unveiling an exclusive six-day driving experience through the Scottish Highlands. Designed for an intimate group of motoring enthusiasts, the Scotland edition blends spectacular landscapes, historic estates, and shared moments that foster lasting connections.
Taking place from 21 September 2026, The Peninsula Motoring Series, Scotland marks the first European chapter of the series, following acclaimed journeys in Japan and California, USA. The experience reflects the growing appetite among luxury travellers for meaningful, experience-led journeys rooted in connection and discovery.

The journey begins at The Peninsula London, where participants gather before travelling onward to Edinburgh and the iconic Gleneagles estate, where they will be introduced to a collection of classic and era-specific vehicles for the drive. Over six days, guests will traverse winding mountain passes, coastal roads, and quiet glens, discovering the rugged beauty of the Cairngorms National Park, the dramatic Applecross Pass, and Scotland’s legendary lochs and landscapes.
The itinerary includes a three-night stay at an exclusive historic estate set amid gardens and woodland, alongside curated dining experiences celebrating local produce, regional specialities, and Scotland’s renowned whisky heritage. Cultural encounters and traditional pursuits such as falconry, archery, axe-throwing, and Scotch tastings further enrich the journey.
Participation in The Peninsula Motoring Series, Scotland is priced at GBP 27,500 per car for two guests, inclusive of five nights’ accommodation, all meals, and all scheduled activities.

From 10–12 August 2026, The Peninsula Motoring Series, California—widely known as The Quail Rally—returns for its 29th year as part of Monterey Car Week, offering motorists access to iconic coastal drives, VIP events, and exclusive experiences including The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
Looking ahead to 2027, The Peninsula Motoring Series, Japan will return following the success of its inaugural edition, continuing to showcase the country’s dramatic landscapes, cultural depth, and automotive heritage.
