Malaysia Airlines announces the temporary suspension of all flights to and from Doha (DOH), Jeddah (JED), and Madinah (MED) until 4 March 2026, with select services on 5 March 2026 also suspended.
This decision follows earlier cancellations implemented from 28 February to 1 March 2026 and is made in response to the continued closure of airspace in parts of the Middle East amid escalating regional security developments. The safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain the airline’s highest priority.
Affected customers will be notified directly and offered alternative travel arrangements or refunds in accordance with applicable policies. Passengers are advised to check their flight status via the airline’s official website or contact the Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the latest updates.
