Ras Al Khaimah’s Wynn Al Marjan Island Reimagines the destination wedding

Wynn Al Marjan Island, reveals new details of its wedding experience, created for celebrations that unfold over several days and across an entire resort.

As the resort prepares to welcome celebrations from late 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island offers couples the freedom to give every chapter of their wedding a distinct setting, atmosphere, and culinary identity, while bringing family and friends together within one destination.

At the center of the experience is Coral Court, the resort’s dedicated Events & Celebrations Center. Beyond it, the integrated resort brings together 22 restaurants, bars, and lounges, Wynn Theater, Wynn Beach Club, a five-star spa, 12 swimming pools, a 550-meter private white sand beach, and Wynn Marina. With 1,540 rooms and suites on-site, and a location less than 70 km from Dubai International Airport, wedding parties can stay, celebrate, dine, and relax without leaving the resort.

A setting for every moment

Coral Court has been created to host occasions of every scale. Its centerpiece is the column-free Grand Ballroom, with sweeping views across the marina. Together, Coral Court’s indoor event spaces can accommodate up to 1,470 guests for banquet-style receptions. Outside, four event terraces and the Event Lawn form part of an expansive outdoor event space, with the lawn accommodating up to 620 guests for a banquet-style celebration. This allows celebrations to move naturally between indoor and open-air settings.

Max Tappeiner, President, Wynn Al Marjan Island, said, “A wedding is so much more than the ceremony itself. It is all the moments that surround it, the traditions, the meals, the celebrations, and most importantly, the time spent together. At Wynn Al Marjan Island, we have an entire resort to bring those moments to life, while making the experience feel effortless for the couple, their families, and their guests. That combination of imagination and service is what makes a wedding at Wynn distinctly unique to each couple.”

The celebration before the ceremony

Within Coral Court, dedicated Bridal and Groom’s Suites give the hours before the ceremony a setting of their own. Each suite measures approximately 150 square meters and provides a private place to prepare, gather with family and friends, and take photographs before the celebration begins.

The Bridal Suite offers a discreet and comfortable space for the bride and her wedding party to prepare, and dress before the ceremony. Vanities, large mirrors, and specialized studio lighting make it the ideal location for photography, as well as hair and makeup application. The Groom’s Suite provides a stylish setting for the groom and his groomsmen to relax and get ready, featuring a cigar lounge and bar, grooming vanities, and a dedicated Wynn Al Marjan Island attendant.

Max Tappeiner added, “The time before a wedding is incredibly personal, and we have considered that experience with the same attention as the celebration itself. The Bridal and Groom’s Suites give each couple their own space and privacy, supported by a team anticipating the details around them. It means they can simply be present with the people who matter to them before one of the biggest moments of their lives.”

Created for the multi-day Indian wedding

For Indian couples, Wynn Al Marjan Island allows a wedding to unfold as a series of individual celebrations, each with its own backdrop and character, while keeping family and friends together in one destination.

A Haldi Ceremony might begin beside the Arabian Gulf, or aboard Natural 9, the resort’s 43-meter private yacht. The Mehndi can take place at the poolside in a shaded cabana or in a more intimate setting that brings private preparations and dining together. Then the energy changes again for the Sangeet, with options including a resort restaurant, the beach at sunset, or Coral Court itself.

The wedding day introduces another experience entirely. A Baraat might make its arrival by decorated white horse or supercar before a Hindu ceremony beneath the mandap, with ceremonial vessels for the sacred fire and its offerings. Dinner and dancing can then take on yet another setting, from the Grand Ballroom to the Event Lawn beneath the open sky.

A culinary experience shaped around the family

Behind every celebration, specialist culinary, banquet, audiovisual, production, and floristry teams work together around one vision, bringing each element of the wedding together seamlessly. A team of 90 chefs and service staff, including specialists in Indian, Arabic, Chinese, and Western cuisines, support celebrations of different scales and traditions. For Indian weddings, menus can span authentic Indian cuisine, regional specialties, family favorites, and international flavors, with vegetarian, Jain, and other dietary preferences considered as part of the planning process.

The wedding cake becomes another expression of the couple’s vision, with each bespoke creation designed by Aizhan Tazhigulova, Executive Pastry Chef and Cake Artist at Wynn Al Marjan. Developed through personal consultations, cakes can reach up to 15 tiers, with every design created exclusively for the occasion and never replicated for another wedding.
