Wildflower Goa appoints Global Destinations to lead its Pan-India strategy

As Indian travellers increasingly seek immersive, experience-led holidays over conventional luxury stays, independently owned boutique properties are emerging as the preferred choice for discerning guests. Offering personalized hospitality, a distinctive sense of place, and meaningful local experiences, these intimate retreats are redefining luxury travel in India.

Recognizing this evolving travel landscape, Wildflower Goa, a family-owned luxury villa retreat in North Goa, has appointed Global Destinations as its exclusive Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Trade Representation partner for the Indian market.

Set upon a full hill in Saipem — eight acres, and only seven villas by choice — Wildflower Goa has always understood the difference between what land can yield and what it should be asked to give. For two hundred years, the Navelkar family has held this ground not as proprietors but as custodians, preserving its natural beauty and building, in turn, a sanctuary rooted in sustainability and farm-to-plate dining. Overlooking the tranquil Nerul River, away from the bustling beach belt, the estate offers guests an escape into a slower, more considered side of Goa — villas set beneath a canopy of old trees and green forest, and experiences drawn from the land and culture that surround them.

An independent hotel known simply for the quality of its service, Wildflower Goa, welcomed its first guest in 2012.

As part of the partnership, Global Destinations will lead the property’s integrated sales, marketing, and communications strategy across India. The mandate includes travel trade engagement, public relations, strategic partnerships, media outreach, consumer marketing initiatives, familiarisation trips, and collaborative campaigns aimed at strengthening Wildflower Villas’ presence among luxury travellers, travel advisors, destination wedding planners, and premium tour operators.

Commenting on the partnership, Richa Sharma Navelkar and Nishad Navelkar, Co-owners and your hosts at Wildflower Goa, said:

“Wildflower Villas has always been much more than a hospitality business for our family—it is an extension of our home and the values we hold dear. We have carefully preserved the estate’s natural surroundings while creating a space where guests can experience a quieter, more authentic side of Goa through genuine hospitality and meaningful experiences. As we look to introduce Wildflower Villas to a wider audience across India, we are delighted to partner with Global Destinations. Their strong relationships within the travel trade and expertise in building hospitality brands make them the ideal partner to support our next phase of growth.”

Speaking on the association, Pranav Kapadia, Founder & Director, Global Destinations, said:

“Luxury today is increasingly defined by authenticity, personalization, and experiences that leave a lasting impression. Wildflower Villas perfectly embodies this shift through its family-owned heritage, intimate scale, and bespoke approach to hospitality. We are delighted to partner with the Navelkar family and look forward to strengthening the property’s presence within the Indian travel trade while positioning it as one of Goa’s most distinctive luxury villa retreats.”

Over the coming months, Global Destinations will roll out a focused market development strategy featuring travel trade engagement programs, familiarization trips, media outreach, strategic partnerships, digital marketing initiatives, and participation in key travel industry events to enhance awareness and drive bookings across the Indian market.

With demand for intimate, experience-led luxury travel continuing to grow, this partnership is poised to position Wildflower Villas among Goa’s most sought-after family-owned luxury retreats, while strengthening its engagement with travel advisors, luxury planners, and discerning travellers across India.
