Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has strengthened its India growth trajectory with the signing of 10 new hotels in the second week of July

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has strengthened its India growth trajectory with the signing of 10 new hotels in the second week of July, expanding the portfolio footprint across seven states. The signings span six brands, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Individuals Premier, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Radisson Individuals Retreats, reflecting RHG’s strategy of layering upper upscale resorts, business hotels, and asset-light conversions across India’s most dynamic demand corridors.

Capturing India’s religious tourism boom

India’s pilgrimage economy remains one of the country’s fastest growing and most underpenetrated hospitality segments. This month’s signings add branded supply across four major pilgrimage and temple-town markets: Radisson Hotel Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh, 115 rooms), Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Mathura Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh, 87 rooms), and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Kadapa Airport (Andhra Pradesh, 45 rooms), each positioned to capture high-frequency, high-occupancy demand from religious tourism that has historically been served by unorganised supply.

Deepening presence in Bengaluru

Reinforcing its position in India’s technology capital and a strategic growth market, RHG plans to add more hotels across micro markets to its existing portfolio of seven operational properties & a pipeline of five hotels (619 keys) in Bengaluru. The recent signings include Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Bengaluru (150 rooms), Park Inn by Radisson Electronic City (112 rooms) and Lavish Hotel Bengaluru, A Member of Radisson Individuals Premier (113 rooms), well positioned to serve sustained corporate and IT-led MICE & travel demand as well as staycations & weekend getaway segments.

Scaling the upper upscale resort portfolio

The Group continues to build out its leisure and resorts offering with new signings which include Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Jawai (Rajasthan, 200 rooms) and Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Vadodara (Gujarat, 155 rooms), extending the brand into destinations with strong and growing leisure and MICE demand.

Strengthening presence in India’s wildlife and nature tourism circuit

Jungle Home Resort Tadoba, a member of Radisson Individuals Retreats (Maharashtra, 26 rooms), marks the Group’s first internationally branded hotel near the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, one of India’s leading wildlife destinations while Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Nainital (Uttarakhand, 45 rooms) becomes the Group’s second hotel in the popular Himalayan hill-station market, and Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Kalaburagi (Karnataka, 55 rooms) extends the brand into North Karnataka’s emerging heritage and industrial corridor.

“India’s hospitality growth story is no longer confined to its top metros, it’s being written in its temple towns, its business corridors, and its wildlife circuits. These 10 signings reflect a deliberate strategy: layering our upscale brands into high-barrier gateway markets while using asset-light, franchise-led models to scale quickly into underserved tier-2 and tier-3 cities. It’s this dual approach for us, depth in the metros, breadth in the emerging markets that continues to set our India growth apart,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

“Behind these 10 signings is a strong pipeline of partnerships built over the past several months. What makes this portfolio particularly noteworthy is its diversity, ranging from greenfield developments and resort projects to conversion opportunities and hotels in emerging pilgrimage and wildlife destinations. This reflects growing owner confidence in Radisson Hotel Group’s ability to offer the right brand, market-smart deal structures and faster speed to market. As development opportunities become increasingly diverse across India, our focus remains on creating tailored solutions that maximise long-term value for our partners while accelerating high-quality portfolio growth,” said Davashish Srivastava, Vice President – Development, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

Radisson Hotel Group continues to command a leading presence in the Indian hospitality sector and is one of the country’s largest international hotel operators, with over 225 hotels in operation and development. The Group remains the largest hotel operator in a key tier-1 market like Delhi NCR, while more than 50% of its portfolio is located across tier-2 and tier-3 markets. Through a strategic mix of business, leisure, and lifestyle brands, Radisson Hotel Group continues to strengthen its footprint across the country, offering hospitality experiences tailored to the evolving needs of modern travelers. Its diverse brand portfolio in India includes Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Individuals, and Radisson Individuals Retreats.
