Rajasthan recorded a strong surge in tourist arrivals during the first six months of 2026, welcoming 10.93 crore tourists till June, according to the latest figures shared by the state government.
The tourism performance highlights the continued importance of Rajasthan as one of India’s leading domestic and international tourism destinations, supported by its heritage, culture, religious sites, wildlife and diverse visitor experiences.
The state has continued to focus on strengthening its tourism ecosystem and improving infrastructure to accommodate the growing number of visitors. The rise in tourist footfall is expected to support businesses across the travel and hospitality sector, including hotels, tour operators, transport providers, destination management companies and local tourism enterprises.
Rajasthan’s extensive portfolio of heritage destinations remains a key driver of tourism demand.
