British Airways unveils new A380 cabin experience

British Airways unveils its redesigned cabins for its retrofitted Airbus A380 fleet, introducing new seating and upgraded interiors across First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller. The first refurbished A380 is expected to enter service in the coming months.

The aircraft will feature 12 new First suites, 106 Club Suite seats across the entire upper deck, 84 World Traveller Plus seats and 215 World Traveller seats. The updated First suite offers enhanced privacy, a shared lounge option for passengers travelling together, dedicated storage and an in-suite minibar.

The Club World cabin will include updated Club Suites with additional storage and improved functionality, while World Traveller Plus will feature larger entertainment screens, privacy wings and refreshed bedding. Economy passengers will receive wider seats, larger screens and upgraded bedding.

The wider refurbishment also includes redesigned galleys and stairways, refreshed dining and amenity offerings, and enhanced service delivery. British Airways said the programme involves more than 35,000 individual parts being installed on each A380.
