The service is scheduled to commence from June 1, 2026.

Industry stakeholders believe the addition of Phuket to Air India Express’ expanding international network reflects the rising demand for short-haul international travel among Indian travellers. The route is also expected to strengthen outbound tourism movement from South India, particularly from Bengaluru, one of the country’s largest aviation hubs.
