Inside the Making of the Disney Adventure
The documentary reveals the many layers of work behind the Disney Adventure. Beginning with the ship’s construction, Disney Adventure: Charting a New Course traces the transformation of the Disney Adventure in Germany as its seven themed areas and onboard experiences took shape.

The film follows the teams who turn creative concepts into experiences for guests, including cast and crew training to deliver signature Disney Cruise Line service, the performers and creative teams rehearsing Broadway-style Disney cruise entertainment. The documentary also provides a peek behind the curtain of “Remember,” an original Broadway-style musical created exclusively for the Disney Adventure, including how Disney entertainment teams brought WALL-E and EVE to the stage for the first 7me.

Disney Adventure: Charting a New Course also explores how Asian culture inspired elements of the onboard experience, including an inside look at how Indian musicians reimagined music from The Jungle Book using traditional instruments to create a soundtrack for Mowgli’s Eatery, an Indian-inspired quick service restaurant.

A Homecoming in Singapore
Crew members are the heart of Disney Cruise Line, and the documentary shines a special spotlight on First Officer Hanisah Valberg, a naive Singaporean and one of the many crew members from Asia. The story follows her as she prepares for the launch of the ship and navigates the homecoming for both the Disney Adventure and herself, adding an emotional layer to the story.

The documentary culminates with the Disney Adventure’s arrival and christening in Singapore in March 2026. Academy Award-winning actor and ship godparent, Robert Downey Jr., christens the vessel, marking Disney Cruise Line’s eighth and largest ship, and the first to homeport in Asia.
